Akenza Welcomes Lothar Pauly as New Chairman of the Board
We would like to introduce and welcome our new chairman of the board, Lothar Pauly.
Lothar Pauly is currently managing director of Management Consulting Lothar Pauly. He brings more than 25 years of senior executive international experience, having worked with leading operators and communication companies. Over his career, he has held multiple C-level positions in both Europe and Asia, including CEO & board member of T-Systems (Deutsche Telekom) and CEO at Siemens Communications.
Prior to becoming the CEO at T-Systems (Deutsche Telekom), Pauly was assigned COO in the former Mobile Communications unit (ICM) at Siemens in 2000. Subsequently, he played a decisive role in the 2004 merger of the two former Mobile Communications (ICM) and Fixed-Network (ICN) units. Helping shape the strategy of an integrated overall telecommunications provider, he was assigned CEO of the Communications Group of Siemens.
In October 2005, he became CEO of the Deutsche Telekom subsidiary T-Systems and member of the Group Board of Management, responsible for the Business Customer strategic business area. In addition to this, Lothar Pauly has had multiple board member and chairman assignments over the years.
With his extensive leadership experience and knowledge of the telecom industry, our new chairman will bring unique expertise and act as a sounding board to our expansion strategy of akenza in the DACH region and beyond.
We are delighted that Lothar will join our board. He is a great extension of our leadership team. His entrepreneurial experience and sector knowledge will greatly add to our growth strategy.
